Professor Anand Saggar
Professor Anand Saggar is a creative Consultant in Clinical Genetics with over three decades of experience in the field. He is the founder of the International Gene Clinic and the Inherited Disorders of Connective Tissue, the largest private genetic clinics in the UK. He is also Visiting Consultant at Crumlin Children’s Hospital in Dublin and Cork University Hospital.
Professor Saggar has an extensive background in diagnosing and managing a wide range of genetic disorders. He previously held the position of Senior Consultant in the South West Thames Regional Genetics Department at St George’s Hospital Medical School in London, was also Honorary Senior Lecturer at St Georges University of London.

Art and Community Engagement:
Professor Saggar has a deep commitment to integrating the arts into healthcare. As Chair of the Arts Committee at St. George’s Hospital for 15 years, he led initiatives to introduce diverse art forms, from visual arts to live performances, enriching the hospital environment for both patients and staff.
