X-rays

X-rays are useful in the detecting abnormalities in the skeletal system as well as for detecting some disease processes in soft tissue.

They are useful in picking up a genetic skeletal dysplasia or other bone abnormalities which can be indicative of various conditions. This may lead to more targeted investigations and diagnosis. X-rays themselves can be diagnostic in certain cases.
